I'm glad to hear you're doing better. I remember seeing this some months ago and wanting to help, but I knew summer was around the corner, and as a college instructor, summer employment is not guaranteed, and even when it occurs, my income is lower than it is the rest of the year. It doesn't help that my wife and I got a new puppy, who is turning out to have quite a few expensive health problems.
And yes, I hope all your tech jobs survive the AI bubble burst that we're all dreading. (I mean, in my case as a writing teacher, I'm very much looking forward to it, but I don't look forward to job losses en masse in the tech industry reminiscent of the 2001 Dot Com recession.)
