Elected officials have a treaty based reason to avoid actually calling what's going on in Gaza a genocide, and that's because they would be forced to take definitive action against the perpetrators. None of them want to open that can of worms, so they just... pretend it's not a genocide while children starve to death. I mean, "a country has the right to defend themselves" right?
Meanwhile, Cuomo... Stop trying to get people to like that guy. It's not going to happen. He left in disgrace over terrible abuse charges, and he has no idea how to relate to normal people. Why the hell would anyone ever want him in? They're going to start trotting out that "electability" nonsense again...
