On a very related note... following up Doom 32X Resurrection, the enhanced 32X version of Doom from what a few years ago, comes something very unexpected, and amazing...
Sonic Robo Blast 2 for the 32X! I didn't know the name offhand and may never have played it, but SRB2 is a 3d Sonic fangame made in the Doom engine. It's a Doom mod. Despite this it's a third-person 3d platformer, which is interesting. It always was a PC game, but now it's a real, playable 32X game that runs fine on real hardware. In full 3d, with textures and everything.

This is seriously incredible stuff. It is only a demo for now so only the first world is there, but ... wow! It's a 3d platformer, on 32X, that runs well? And it's a Sonic game? Incredible. I haven't played enough of it to say much but on a technical level it's seriously incredible.
Between the Tomb Raider 32X demo from January this year (porting level 1 of Tomb Raider to the 32X), Doom CD32X Fusion, and now this, 2024 is the year of the 32X homebrew! Who knew?
