There's an exciting Mario game? What, the Mario Party game with its 20-player multiplayer? :p
As for Zelda though, there are some people thinking that this might be a modified LttP world again. I really hope it isn't, that world has never been my favorite as I'm sure people here remember. If it is it could be okay but... eh, I'd definitely rather see something else. Also, I'm sure the game will be at least somewhat open-ended since that's what people seem to like from Zelda now, but as someone who does not enjoy that kind of thing much at all I hope that it's a much more directed experience than BotW is. We'll have to wait and see. I think that either way it'll work a lot better for me than BotW does since it's a top-down Zelda game and none of those are, or are likely to ever be, as aimlessly open as BotW is, so I do think I'll like this game, but we'll have to see.
Anyway, as for games I'm looking forward to from this E3, given how much I've played Diablo IV -- yes I am still playing it, the gameplay is just so fantastic -- it should be no surprise that I'm definitely looking forward to its expansion pack. The story doesn't sound particularly interesting, but that's not what I like about the game, it's the gameplay. More of that would be great

Quote:Don't get me wrong, to my shame I AM very excited about two of these three games, and "tentatively hopeful" about the last one... but frankly, outside of Nintendo? My biggest gaming moments as of late are random indie titles now. Selaco just came out, and that game's amazing not because it's a "boomer shooter" but because it's pretty innovative in it's own right and breaks out of that mold to do it's own thing pretty well.Indie games can be good, but there are too many of them to know what most of them are, you know? So many indie games are releasing that there's no way people could know what all of them are or buy the good ones. And so most indie games fail to sell well enough to support the developers.
