MS shuts down some companies

Yeah, I used to like IGN a lot, but I felt like they got a lot worse quite a few years ago nowa nd have barely gone there in years.  And when I do I see a site that looks like a shell of its former self, mostly focused on things unrelated to videogames it seems.  And yet, they're the largest and most popular gaming news and review site still, really?  I wonder if that says more about how bad the state of gaming media is now more than anything...
