Can I be a jerk and turn this into the official Super Mario 3D All-Stars thread?
I bought it for myself for my birthday, and Gooooood DAMN, Mario Galaxy is still a brilliant game. I've been hooked. I think it's the best 3D Mario game since Mario 64. Its sequel was underwhelming imo, and it hasn't been topped since.
Mario Odyssey was p good, but I don't feel the need to re-play it, or even get all the stars. Sheesh, did they have to cram in what, 30 stars per-level? I'm too dumb to find all their subtle hidden spots, even with Toad's clues. And apparently, the gameplay isn't fun enough to compel me trudging through the worlds for hours. Shout out to the New Donk City mini-level where Mayor Pauline sings in the background, though. Hellllll yeah.
I haven't played the sequel, maybe I will if it's better than the first, but I've no inclination to find out.
