Yeah, this does seem to be a problem that's getting worse, and Nintendo seems to help these people out by seriously under-shipping a lot of stuff to the US. I mean, if you want any Amiibo other than the common ones you see everywhere... good luck, you'll probably need ebay and plenty of money to get them. The Majora's Mask limited edition New 3DS XL seems to have been shipped in tiny numbers, most preorders have been cancelled. I am sure a lot of the few they made will end up on ebay for quite a bit more than they should.
