I'm seeing a $50 a year price tag on that. I'm not buying a year subscription to use Photoshop myself.

I'll just stick with Gimp, even with the incredibly offensive name. (The images they've made advertising features don't help, with various amputee'd animals demonstrating images.) Really, if they want anyone to take them seriously, they need to grow up and rename the damn thing.

It's $25 if you bought from adobe before and it's not just photoshop it's the latest version of every adobe project that exists like glorious aftereffects and premier. And it's a guarantee you always get the latest and greatest as soon as it comes out. For example I just got aftereffects CS6 which that alone has paid for it for three years.
