*crashes into the thread about 8 weeks late, as usual*
One reason Sandy kicks ass is that he can insult you so well that you think he's complimenting you.
I always wanted to pull off sarcasm as well as him, but I care too much about people getting the point that I make it too see through.
So the topic... I'm not the best source on the matter, but I doubt any of you are either and that didn't stop you, so here goes. :) Avril Lavigne's music is not punk. Maybe she wants to be a punk, and as far as I can tell being a "punk" used to mean being yourself regardless of what people thought. So maybe you could argue in that sense, but the music does not fit into what we now call punk. Wow, I sound like some historian giving a lecture or something, so I better stop that. I would call it pop though, at least not what I've heard. Of course, that leads into the debate of what is pop music. Seems now that anything that isn't pure punk, rap, or hardcore is considered pop which makes things confusing. So since there really are no defining lines, why argue it? This reminds me of that debate about what games should be called Adventure, and it was pretty pointless. But I guess a lot of people got into that, just for the sake of argueing!
Is she hot? Well, if you read TC a lot you'll have picked up on some comments I made a few weeks back that relate somewhat to this, and you can gather your own opinion. At least she seems somewhat real and actually wears clothes, so that's a plus for her. But I know girls who are much more beautiful, and they are much better people as well. So nyah. :p
Next Topic: As best as I can remember, the people who were at RC before Weltall took over and are still registered members are:
