True. I like food to have flavor, but don't like mouth-burning levels of spice. So at Indian restaurants, which I would definitely say have the hottest "medium" between Indian, Thai, Chinese, and Japanese places, I usually get mild, because it's still got flavor, and I'm not suffering while I eat it. Thai is a little less spicy than Indian, so I usually get medium there. Chinese (the American version of it) and Japanese aren't very spicy.
For Mexican food, I'd rather not have the sliced (or whole, or whatever) jalapenos, thank you. :)
As for buffalo wings and stuff, I don't really like chicken wings, so I don't know. I love chicken, but I prefer boneless stuff, and don't like skin either... :) Still though, I know they're spicy. I imagine how much depends on which kind you get.
