I get ya EM, but honestly I don't even think 4chan is enough to count as "internet culture", I think that's more like a culture that's ON the internet. Heck I still don't know much about it except it's some forum full of depraved people, and I'm getting that from you.
I used to think it was odd to meet someone who hadn't heard of Homestarrunner (though before I'd heard of it, I hadn't heard of it myself, thank you tautology), but now? Well, it's easier to see that, considering they seem to have dropped off the face of the earth for almost a year at this point.
