I hadn't heard of these two sequels until they came out, but it didn't surprise me really because of how every popular '80s movie and TV show seems to be getting a movie these days... I knew of so many others (Transformers, He-Man, Thundercats, etc, etc), but not these.

... Does that mean that there'll be a Goonies 2 sometime?

I've not actually ever seen the original A-Team or Karate Kid movies/TV show, so I don't have too much interest in these either, but it's pretty funny that Hollywood really does seem to have absolutely no new ideas... but even so, yeah, The A-Team with no Mr. T?
