EM, I dunno, I LOVED Brawl. I mean I recently played Melee, and while there are a few things I prefer in there (the chief among it is the nonexistance of "randomly falling on your arse for no reason", what were they thinking?), I still was glad to get back to Brawl. I just like the overall product better.
