No DJ, Google Chrome has several issues with its proxy settings and inability to work with anti virus programs. In fact Undead, if the change in proxy settings dont do it, manually turn off your anti-virus programs. If all else fails, use a program to specifically delete all files for chrome, then reinstall the latest version. But a lot of people have done that and ended up with the same problem.
