It's funny you should mention that...
I saw 2 drunken idiots outside the pawn show today protesting because they can't buy a semiautomatic weapon. Like pawn shops need some of those --> Points to Virginia tech... Fucking idiots...
That said, I support the second amendment, but I personally don't like guns. If you want to own one, you should be able to, and that's cool with me, provided the transaction is legal, and your not some psychopath or beer chugging redneck.
As for handguns, I support the ban in Virginia.. The is just no viable reason to own one unless your intent is to do harm, their built for killing humans not hunting animals, and you can protect your home just as well with a riffle, in fact I think pointing a fucking double barrel shot got at a robber would probably drive the point home that much better.
