Though I don't have one at the moment, I am planning to get a firearm sometime in the future. Certain reasons and situations have prompted me to purchase one.

I have always supported your right to kick the ass of anyone that threatens you or your family. Unfortunately, I question if we're going to have that right for much longer.

If you do own a handgun, assault rifle, shotgun, sniper rifle (you're fucking awesome if you say "yes" to this), please feel free to tell us about it. Also, could you give a first time gun owner some information on a good weapon?
