Reactions from fans of the first game are decidedly not, however, just like the Gamespy review.

Base building minimized (I like base building! I've never really been a fan of no-base-building RTSes like Myth or WiC... they're okay, but not as good as "real" RTSes.), vapid C&C style gameplay but with respawning, not-that-big maps, much less complex resource system, can't queue units you don't have the resources for (and if you queue it but resources go below the level needed you will need to manually re-enable the build), much smaller unit numbers, graphics not much better... "very disappointing for anyone who liked SupCom" pretty much defines the game by almost all accounts.
