Sierra died when Activision bought it. They shut down pretty much the entire company almost immediately after buying them. They shut down the official Sierra website, dropped the Sierra logo, shut down Sierra's official forums, shut down their autopatcher service, etc, etc. Sierra died a year or two ago. It's tragic but true... :bummed:
As for this, considering how awful (or, as some would say, evil) Activision CEO Bobby Kotick is, the only surprise here is how long it took Activision to do this... :(
