A Black Falcon Wrote:... That's the whole point. There are a lot of people that think that the NES Mega Man games were amazing... like me for instance, the NES Mega Man games are probably the best of the whole Mega Man franchise. What's wrong with something that brings that back, but with modern touches? I think it's pretty cool...Fine then, all I'm saying is why can't hi res artwork be one of those modern touches. There are plenty of other games which have done this without taking away from the original game. For example Super Mario Bros All Stars for the SNES is a prime example of this, it's the old school Mario engine but with 16 bit modern graphics instead of 8 bit. Even though the image files where replaced, it still preserved the original art form perfectly. Even the new Super Mario Bro's for the Wii had some old school Mario code in it, but it's been completely redone, and what's the result? The line in the store to play the demo is out of the department clear into shoes. This is because it brings Super Mario into the modern age but at the same time preserves the integrity of the game. All I'm saying is why can't they do this with Mega Man 10.
Btw, why the hell is a 8 bit game being released in 2009? Was it just siting in a closet for the last 19 years? What's the deal?
