But it is new, Proto Man's playable from the start this time instead of being DLC!
(Rumor says that there will be three playable characters this time though, so are they saving the DLC for the third one?)
And anyway, it's like Mega Man always is... once they have a formula that works on a system, they milk it for all they're worth. They've done that so many times now from the original games on the NES all the way to stuff like the GBA and DS games (four MM Zeros, six-plus MM Battle Networks, two ZX games, two or three Star Force...), so why would they stop now?
Overall I don't really mind. NES graphics still look cool. :)
Oh, as for Easy Mode, it exists because a lot of people found MM9 really, really hard, and they wanted an approachable option for people who aren't really good at platformers.
