I also still held on to my Gameboy Color, because of games that used that infrared sensor.
Speaking of messed up BC, there's also the 360's complete hault on making any new emulator updates, the fact that Silent Hill 1 doesn't play quite right on either the PS2 or PS3 (worse on the latter, there's a horrible tone that plays whenever you shoot something, partially but not completely fixed in the downloadable version). Even the Wii, which has the best backwards compatibility, has no method of using the LAN modes of Gamecube games, even if that would have been an easy thing to implement.
