"Hey could you spot me while I choke myself while choking myself?"
"...Haha, holy damnit christmas, no way man. Oh our lady of what the hell, seriously, no way... ahahaha..."
"Hmm... well you don't have be so uptight about it."
Besides even with a spotter that's gotta be dangerous. There's not exactly a large amount of literature on the topic of safe methods of doing such a thing.
Well, it'd generally be with another person who likes it I imagine, and they'd take turns or something...
But really, even when doing stupid things, the danger aspect doesn't seem to cross people's minds, really. Threat of jail doesn't often seem to deter criminals. People sniff glue, or paint thinner, or aerosols, or other things like that, and it coats their lungs and can kill without warning. Most people know that. They just either don't care or think 'it won't happen to me'... it's not too different here, particularly for people doing it on their own (it's easy to pass out without noticing, evidently... every so often in the news you hear of someone who died doing this. It's usually a young person, though... but obviously not always.). But yes, even with another person of course it's still quite dangerous, just a bit less so. Accidental serious injury or death would of course still be quite possible.
Quote:I'm getting ahead of myself here though. We really ought to stick with whatever reports come directly from the police team investigating his death and not run around the rumor mill. "You never know" is not really a good way to go about life. It's not like every one of these are equally probable. When you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras.
True, of course.
