Of course it's bad that the Red Sox aren't winning. Yeesh, why is it that Red Sox fans seem to only be able to define themselves based on how well they're doing compared to the Yankees? Is it because the Red Sox Nation can't summon a vision of their own? I mean, they've had over a hundred years to do so but they still can't seem to get over their obsession with the Yankees. Anybody who goes to Fenway Park wearing a "Yankees Suck" shirt or waving around signs saying things like "Jeter Sucks A-Rod" are horrible fans.
In that same division, the Blue Jays are really strong out of the gate and I'd like to see them carry on their winning ways. Halladay's gonna keep on doing his thing and even though they lost A.J. Burnett the rest of the line-up is holding their own. I think they're due for a playoff season, but I'm not getting my hopes up. They've kept pace with the Yankees and Red Sox up until August in recent seasons before running out of gas, but I hope that won't be the case this year.
