Beans/ He breaks the 4th wall, he has no actual personality as his super power is free form heightened awareness and his very construction is completely based off the idea that his real past is so fucked, he even makes up his own storyline of how he came in to being every time he appears. He has broken almost all of his bones and has the agility of a coked up ferret, he knows how to street fight better than a Crip but he likes to pretend he cant even throw a punch because he enjoys seeing people's rage. And when Scarecrow dusted him with Fear, to his surprise Joker had no fears to fear, and then beat the shit out of Scarecrow with a chair. He's an immeasurable genius, he's hardwired in a way that makes him truly separate from humanity. The fact that he can plan things down to infinite details doesn't surprise me at all. He tried to trademark a form of tuna that had been deformed to resemble himself, when the government refused, he killed members of congress. I fucking love him. Nolan opted out of showing Joker's artistic side (protip: he studied art most of his life but became interested in disfigurement-as-art for obvious reasons) but i'm hoping his forthcoming appearances at least mention it...
Hmm, ferries... I dont remember eckzacery, but didn't Joker order that he will allow Gothonians back in to Gotham for an even trade of inmates (hence why they were facing in different directions)?
Anyway, I think this joker is more based on his early red hood days and his climb to power but *every* Joker story has one thing in common: His appearance isn't just make up. So i'm thinking either it was trashed for the 'war paint' or that Joker's bath time will be in the next movie. Regardless of anything, I want a joker that smiles and acts like a clown on occasion. Remember the gun that shot out the flag that says 'Bang' but the flag was actually metal and he used it to stab the dude in the neck? That was funny. i forget which comic that was in...
