I think you're forgetting that there was only one foreign terrorist attack on U.S. soil during Bush's time in office. That averages out to less than one per term. So let's try to not blindly take a glass-half-empty approach to everything Bush related. It's irrational.
And from what I understand, that mistreatment has continued to the present. Canada's not much better - First Nations are relegated three steps below the bottom rung of society in this country, and vicious racism towards aboriginals occurs all across this fine land of mine, from coast to coast to coast.
