Lumashi (some of you may know her from Cypherstation) tells me about how crappy Oklahoma is all the time.
Alabama isn't the best state in the country, but hey, at least we've got electricity!
My history classes haven't been the best either. It seems every year, the school board decides to boost world history up another grade. I'm in 7th grade, learning world history, when the school board decides that 8th graders should learn world history instead. So next year, I'm learning world history again. Then again in 9th grade. Needless to say, I'm sick of world history. Though for 10th and 11th grade, I had American history. Right now, we're in World War II, where we've been most of the semester. We probably won't get much further than the 50's, maybe the 60's, when school ends. Most of what I know from after WWII comes from studying on my own time. Yes, I know, I'm a geek. ;) I also know a lot about the 60's because we had a decades research project, and my decade was the 60's. Groovy.
