In the orignal your Zodiac alignment meant a plus or minus in the percent of your overall abilities to the unit your using the move on. So the two fish and the lion would work well together, cast any HP up magic and you get a 5% bonus possibility. But the cancer and the lion dont work together well, so you get a 5% decrease possibility. But then you have to factor critical hits and evade potential, then whatever their brave and faith are to equal your final possibility and percentage. It's pretty involved but nerdcore awesome.

I always loved the line "Blame yourself or God". The new line is krap. 'Someone drank all the coffee...' "BLAME YOURSELF OR GOD". Classic.
