Yeah, here's what you do. Buy my new "source closer patches" and glue them to your hard disk. They use magnetic quantum effects and... crystals (yeah crystals) to close the sources in your programs and make them run faster. Your whole system should get a boost! $300.
Anyway, the only real slowness I noticed was starting up the program, and yes, it is worse than Office in that regard. But, it's only a few seconds and I don't mind the wait myself. There's a seperate program that sits in the background that exists only to boost loading times, but to be honest I hate background apps like that so I killed that thing as soon as I saw it.
