lazy if you think Nintendo was "neck in neck" during the 8 bit era... Well maybe you should read a little book called "Game Over". They may have had to compete with Sega in the 16 bit era, starting with the release of the Genesis, but Nintendo DESTROYED Sega during the 8 bit. I never even HEARD of the Master System until over a decade later. Nintendo actually had such a stranglehold they literally ordered stores not to CARRY the Master System or they wouldn't provide them with NES systems to sell.
