But yes, you are right, when the PSP couldn't gain ground at Christmas, it was effectively over. Really though, the PSP has done better than I really thought it would... sure sometimes I was doubtful, thinking that Sony's marketing power with the Playstation brand might lead it to victory, but really I think that I thought that it wouldn't do nearly that well (particularly after Sony self-destructed with the PS3 announcement!)... but the PSP has done decently, overall, and better than any other competitor the Game Boy series has faced.
