That's not true, DJ. If it sells well and then Blu-Ray takes over the world, eventually because of game and Blu-Ray movie income, it will turn a profit. Someday.
... yeah, that's not exactly likely. But still, it's the model everyone other than Nintendo uses... lose money on the systems, make it on games (and, for Sony, movies). Sony's problem just is that they are losing so MUCH money per system. Well, MS is too, but they can bear it... even with their size, Sony just doesn't have MS's money.
