A Black Falcon Wrote:Mosaic is the basis of all web browsers, not just IE, and is most directly related to Mozilla/Firefox, really, not IE... but yes, other than that that's true. The web browser market leader was first Mosaic, then its followup Netscape (after making Mosaic, Andreessen called it Netscape and made it commercial), then Microsoft's IE, which took several versions before it was really good enough to compete. IE is still in the lead, probably just because it's most people's default browser so it's what they use, but Mozilla/Firefox keep gaining marketshare on it...
I can see some uses for a keyboard, as I said, but a micro-sized one with miniature keys, used just for chat? Those microscopic keys look awful...
Seriously, I know MS is trying to keep consoles and PCs separate, but in cases like this, it hurts them much more than it helps.
Now the only question is... will it have overlays like the Jaguar, Intellivision, etc. controllers had, so you can have a nice graphical display for what all of the buttons do in each game? :D
Wait until it's out. It won't hurt them a bit. There was far more shit being thrown about the 2 skus, non-standard hdd, "early" launch...and they're pulling through more than fine.
It won't be used for games.
Jak 3 : Jet Set Radio Future : Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee : Final Fantasy XII : Shadow of the Colossus : more to come...
