I know you said 'practically' but whenever I get the chance I have to give props to my alma mater. It was a great place to get a CS degree from. It was almost intimidating being around so many smart CS people, but I learned a lot. A lot of computer breakthroughs were created on campus or by alums including the LED, the integrated circuit, the transistor, and the plasma screen. The YouTube guys also got there start at U of I. Best of all, Hugh Hefner of Playboy fame is a grad, and the rumor is that he donates a copy of each issue to the main library. An urban legend most likely, but I hope I can get an invite to the grotto just for being a fellow alum.
