I think he's already got a Genesis/CD combo. So, he doesn't really need that.
In fact I also have that combo, and a 32X, so I don't need it either. My model 2 Sega CD has not skipped at all in all the time I've used it.
The only reason to get one is that it's a space/electrical socket saver.
