And the list of "Good first party GBA games Nintendo would not release in the US" seems pretty much set... :(
KuruKuru Kururin (this was released in Europe though, so it is available in English)
Kururin Paradise (maze puzzle-ish games)
Legend of Starfi
Legend of Starfi 2
Legend of Starfi 3 (platformers)
Mother 1 & 2 Collection (EarthBound Zero and 1)
Mother 3 (EarthBound 3)
Digitylish series (or whatever the final name of the line was... those strange mini-games released earlier this year, some of them cool looking...)
Magical Vacation (though we did get Magical Vacation 2 for the DS)
Fire Emblem (6): Fuuin no Tsurugi (Sword of Seals, literally)
And others I'm sure I forgot.
Agreed, it was only ever a invented lie to give them cover for if the DS failed (which, we might remember, was a possibility...)...

Quote:Yeah that whole "third pillar" thing Iwata and Reggie tried to feed us was bull. The DS is the new Nintendo handheld. There may be another iteration of Game Boy sometime down the road, but come on, did anyone REALLY expect that the GBA and DS would coexist? Truly? Why do you think they built in GBA compatability? If it succeeded, it would end the GBA, and if it failed, they GBA is a nice cozy brand for Nintendo to fall back on.
Now that the DS is going strong, the Game Boy is losing support. I wonder why.
