I too think it's absurd, for that same reason. A conspiracy of that scope and magnitude would have to involve thousands of people. I can't believe that the government managed to keep every last one of them silent. With so many mouths, the law of averages states that somewhere along the line someone would have to say something in the five years since the event took place.

Yet, where do we hear it from first? College kids on the internet, using mostly circumstancial evidence.

It'll take more than that to make a believer out of me, and like most people, I'm inclined to dismiss conspiracy theories out of hand anyway, since, yunno, most of them are bullshit anyway.
