Hexxagon is a pretty good game, I definitely agree... lots of fun, for either one or two people. I always liked the graphics, the way the pieces take over the ones around them... :)
My memory says that Argo Games was the developer... the publisher? Uhh... I forget. Not "Software Developers Inc." though... Software Creations, maybe? Not sure... that was a famous BBS though, I forget if they did their own games too...

Anyway, Hexxagon is a fun PC-only board game, and yeah, I would recommend trying it too.
