    The best thing to do would be to keep it a Gamecube game, but offer Revolution capabilities and make sure to hype up the fact that GC games can be played on the Revolution.

    OMG! I was keeping my GC around just to play the new Zelda, but now I might sell it and wait to play it on the Rev. Now I know I'll have a definite kick ass game at launch. *EXCITED*

    Well you knew the Revolution played all GCN games anyway, and it has ports for Gamecube controllers, so I still don't see how this changes your decision by any means.

    This is a pretty good move though. It's like that very VERY minor GBA support in the GBC Zelda Oracle games. Only, this isn't too minor. It'll be interesting to see which one is better for controlling this game. At the very least, if for whatever reason the revolution controller just doesn't "work out" with this game (it was designed for the Gamecube after all), we aren't stuck with it.

    Well, I was going to play it on the cube as soon as it came out (rumored to be this coming summer), but now that it will be playable with the Revolution controller I think I'll just pick Twilight Princess up when I get my Revolution. And like you said, it supports the GC controllers so I can always revert to that if I need to. It was just a matter if I wanted TP right when it launched (which I've done for every Zelda game since Link to the Past) or wait a few months...I'll wait and break in my Revolution with it.

    Does that clear things up?

    Will this be the first time that theres a Zelda... well I guess "virtual" launch title for a Nintendo console ? I believe it will be ?

    Now the second part of my theory is that when you put Zelda: TP in the Rev, it will open something new. Whether it's something goofey (like a new costume), a new shop with exclusive stuff for the wifi network, avatars, etc. Or even a new dungeon or equipable items.

    They should release Twilight Princess on two discs, one for the Gamecube and one for the Revolution. That way they'll have more much space for extras on each console.

    That would be awesome but it wont happen, there's just no way they could add that much stuff with a few extra months of development. I hope you're right though.

    What would just be the end all supreme awesomeness of all time is a second disk (DVD) that has 'special features' with interviews and commentary, behind the scenes mo-cap shoots, the tech scripts, you name it. Even 'deleted segments' with half-finished levels or side-quests. And, of course, it would contain the game's soundtrack put to music videos. :D:D:D

    The special edition will include a second disc with the original cell shaded version of the game that was scrapped after it was finished in favor of the "mature" version. In the original version you defeat Ganondorf with love. In the new version Link goes Super Saiyan and rips Ganondorf's head off with his bare hands.

    Yeah but they were going in a whole other direction with this version. For instance Link was a girl hence the name Twilight Princess. At the end she and Ganondorf get it on.
