Miyamoto: Yes boss?
Boss guy (who's name I forget, because he doesn't make games): Look, Miyamoto, you're like a son to me. Miyamoto: You don't.. have a son... Boss: That's where I'm headed here. Miyamoto: Oh...

I bet some n00b was reading an article about Zelda and Star Fox and he had a brainfart and thought that Zelda was going to be a fox. That's just blasphemy.
29th April 2005, 4:35 PM
I'd say there's still a good chance that Zelda, at some point, will be a Fox or some kind of animal. It's already confirmed that Link will be communicating with some animals, plus the wolf howling at the moon and the rumors of Link and/or Epona changing in to different animals.
It would be interesting to see if at some point Gannondorf is behind it casting some sort of spell on the villages. Link would then need to go to each villegae and break the spell to make them human again. Which could mean that Link at some point will be forced to become an animal... that would hinder progression :D imagine trying to get info about the next goal while you're a wolf. It's very close to the plot of Majora's Mask who had the same director, running around in the body of something else.
29th April 2005, 4:45 PM
Actually, Eiji Aonuma (who directed MM and WW) is the producer this time around, not the director. :D
Wouldn't it be cool if you could turn into a wolf and then eat your horse? Because, cause you'd be hungry and could already run fast enough? So then you wouldn't need it... and it would seem alright since you were a wolf... and then... then.... nm
29th April 2005, 6:39 PM
I wonder if Epona is still afraid of water. And stairs.
30th April 2005, 12:32 AM
You took an unconfirmed blatant rumor and just went with it from there lazy :D.

I read the article in EGM today, and I'm excited. They had art of Zelda all grown up, and she's hot. I wish elves were real.
And speaking of elves, I'd like to mention that Inverloch is a cool webcomic with fantastic art that I just found. So yeah.

Wow... LL made quite possibly the most out of character comment he's ever made...
I bet lazy's going to have a field day with that.

Elves are cool.
2nd May 2005, 12:25 PM
What's wrong with my comment? I like girls, especially cute ones, and elves are cool. I too wish sometimes I was an elf. I know you all feel the same. We're all geeks here. :)
And for clarification, I'm excited about ALL the cool Zelda stuff I read about in EGM. Not just that they had concept art of Zelda. I realize now how my post sounded.

Elves? Yeah, I guess, but if we're going to be talking about the top of the hotness scale here, sorry, but it's gotta be it's cat-girls or nothing. You know what I'm talking about. *leering grin*

Beastiality... ewww...
2nd May 2005, 1:38 PM
MAYBE...but come on...you know you thought about it!
And for some clarification, I'm not talking about antropomorphic female cats or female furries, but catgirls. There is a distinction here.

You're talking about furries...

Haven't you ever seen an anime catgirl before, OB1?
2nd May 2005, 3:32 PM
Quote:You're talking about furries... :shake: As you'll notice I took careful steps to make the sure the distinction between the flat-out disgusting furries and the amazingly cute catgirls was quite clear. It's not rocket science here, folks! This: Not this: There is a difference, Daniel!

In the name of all that is holy, what is WRONG with you? Cat ears aside, there is something ELSE totally wrong with that picture, the top one I mean, the bottom one is just hilarious. Whoever drew it should be hanged from the gallows... seriously...
You wearned: New Slang, furry = some sorta animorph person Anyway, I'll TRY to return this to an on topic thing before lazy traumatizes us all (well maybe not YOU GR). From what I've gathered, the hylians aren't elves but are actually just humans with pointy ears. (For the record LL, I don't think you are "gay" or anything. I was just under the impression you were a unit... er, uniq... er... unic... however that word is spelled... and pronounced... um, basically what I'm saying is I was under the impression you were playing the role of Sans Testiclese.)

Yeah.
Here's a webcomic with cat-people. Note the difference from anime-style catgirls. :) http://milea.keenspace.com/ Compare this to anime-ish catgirls such as Darkstalkers' Felicia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felicia_%28...aracter%29

Yes I know what you're talking about. Furries.
They're (often) hairy! They're cat people! It's nasty!
2nd May 2005, 4:19 PM
No, I wasn't talking about furries. Furries are just plain nasty. I'm talking about catgirls.
See, with the cat+girl combination you have three categories: -Antropomorphic, which is simply a cat that walks on its hindlegs and talks like a regular person. -Furry, which is a furry with a few humanistic features, usually they're covered in hair all over like an cat and possibly a face with feline features. -Catgirl, which is a girl with cat ears and tail, but usually no more feline features. They may also act "catish" at times.
Sometimes you get the scorpion.
2nd May 2005, 4:35 PM
Yes, those are the categories. Catgirls are definitely the most common of the three... it's silly really, for it's quite absurd to think of a "cat" race that is 99% identical to humans, but it's closer to what humans find attractive so it's quite a popular character concept...

I see, well I guess that there is much more to this whole anime beastiality business than I previously thought...

Catgirls actually have a soul though, unlike furries [because they're basically the same as a regular animal]. It makes all the difference in the world. As for the quote by DJ, I don't understand what it mean either.

......well salsa aside, GR what on EARTH are you talking about? At least my comment, as completely insulting as it was :D, made some sort of sense. Oh and, I see a major problem with the word "furry" as slang by the way. What about Falco, or Slippy, or those dinosaur guys? It doesn't really cover anything but anipeople with fur.
And um, yeah, no souls? We're talking fictional creatures here, and generally speaking, I'm pretty sure the aristocats and the dalmations WERE supposed to have souls.

If they don't have souls then they don't get to live anywhere. They would just be robots reacting with zero self awareness, and that I can't accept! That would mean Cruella Deville and that evil butler guy weren't doing anything wrong!
