Yeah, it's that time again, when a a load of teenagers are crammed into a bus with a bunch of adults and they go someplace that's supposed to fun, but really they just end of getting drunk and then forgetting about everything that happened while they were gone. Except, this time it's six kids in a Suburban with 2 sponsors and we're going to South Padre when there's nobody there. So, yeah, it's going to be a ton of fun that Bo Jackson himself would admire. See you on Sunday!

Aww, for a second there I read "trip" and "Bo Jackson" and thought that you were going on a trip to see Bo Jackson, or going on a trip with Bo Jackson. That'd be so cool!!!1111111111111111111111

My senior trip was lame. We went to a Cubs game and to the ESPN Zone™. Oh, such great memories.

I didn't go on my senior trip. Apparently they went to Disney World. It'd be cool to go to Disney World for only the second time in my life (the last time I went, I was about 5) but I'd rather go with my family or some other group of people who I trust. I refuse to go that far from home with my class.

Shit, I was never passionate about high school. Everybody was hyped up about senior prom "omg its the most importint nite uv yur lief" BAH! And then graduation, "wah wah ile nevur 4get al thu gr8 tiemz wee had" WHAT GREAT TIMES?! Yeah, I was glad to get graduation over with and fucking leave! I almost didn't go to college because I wanted to be through with school.

Oh dude... I would've LOVED to go to Disney World with my senior class. I live in a small town and our senior class had like, 65 people in it. It would've been like one big family vacation to me. :D

I would like to go to Disney World again someday... it's been about fourteen years.

And for that matter, it's been about seven years since I last went to Six Flags.

I went to Six Flags on a church mission trip for spring break in 1998. Well, that was the last part of the trip, anyway. We spent most of the trip going ot nursing homes and performing for old people. Six Flags was the fun part though.

Our class didn't ahve any senior trips this year, I didn't really care though.
I'm still undecided as to whether I will go to grad or not, as far as i'm concerned the end of high school isn't that significant

Yeah, the end of high school is overhyped. Most people go on to college afterwards, and those who don't usually don't succeed in life. Now, when you complete college, then graduation has some significance.

Alright I'm back! Senior Trip was a lot of fun. We went to San Antonio and South Padre Island and just messed around and ate at good restraunts most of time. I got a sun burn. :(

Aside from that the only thing that wasn't too fun was the 12 hour drive back home. Ugh, so tired...

My graduation trip or whatever consisted of my family driving to Yellowstone. But at least I bought a GBC (the cool teal one) and brought along Pokémon Blue for something to do. I think I spent most of the trip in Mewtwo's cave.

geoboy- since you mentioned a Cubs game AND ESPNZone, I'm assuming you mean the Zone in Chicago. I was in Chicago for a little over a day last fall with a bunch of my friends, and our free time consisted of parking at Navy Pier and walking to Due's, pigging out on over-rated yet filling Chicago-style pizza. Then we walked to ESPNZone for those giant cookies and brownies and ice cream (mmmmmm), then we wandered around on the way back to the vans. We found a 4 or 5 story Banana Republic and went inside just to see a 4 or 5 story Banana Republic and make fun of the silly looking clothes. I never knew how different people back east (and for someone born in Cali and living in Colorado everythen east of Kansas is "back east") dress. We saw lots of people in big overcoats and they were all dressed up with ties and dresses and we were walking around in t-shirts and jeans and messy "I've been sleeping in a van" hair. It was pretty funny. I thought they only dressed that way on tv.

And then one time see Randy Beeman came over and he brought his pillow and he slept at my house and during the night he dreamed of eating a giant marshmallow and when he woke up, his pillow was gone. Okay bye.

Yeah, it was Chicago, LL. It's only about 3 hours from where I live. Our trip had the potential to be fun, but it just didn't really turn out that way. The Cubs game was furrrreeezing! Stupid windy city being all windy and stuff. And our seats were pretty terrible...

We had lunch at ESPN Zone, which was pretty good. Their arcade, however, was pretty subpar and we only got like a few game credits on our cards and had to pay for more if we wanted to play more than, like, 5 games.

However, for band, we march every year in the Chicago St. Patrick's Day parade, and afterwords we split into groups and get to roam the streets of Chicago. :D I just like to go into the big stores and climb all the way to the top level of them. I find that to be quite fun since the tallest building in my town is only four stories.

"over-rated?" I can't believe you didn't like deep-dish pizza LL. I challenge you to a duel! Link Anyway, if you ever read this where did you eat, if you can remember?

It's my graduating year and I have no interest in any senior trip. I'm pretty sure my school doesn't even offer a senior trip. (only 70 people in my graduating class)

Not that I care. The less time I spend in school and doing school-related events the better. I am so ready for high school to end.

As for the deep dish pizza argument- Once I ordered a pizza from Chicago Deep Dish Pizza when I was visiting a friend in Calgary at like 4 am. The dude who delivered it drove up in his van, which had leapord-print covered seats and he had a ponytail. He looked to be about fifty. He was so cool that me and my buddy invited him in and we ate the pizza and listened to all his bullshit stories about picking up women (he said the cops keep on pulling him over because of his van, thinking he's a pimp. He said, "but I'm just the pizza pimp"). He had a ton of other cool stories too. Apparently a lifetime of pot smoking and blues bars garners some pretty good stories. The guy was so fucking cool.

I passed out some time later and I'm pretty sure he molested and robbed me.

It also leads to being a 50 year-old pizza delivery driver.

The trade isn't quite even, if you ask me.

Picture The Dude from The Big Lebowski. That's the kind of guy this pizza delivery man was.
