Rogue Leader Help...

I've been playing Rogue Leader for 16 months now, and I haven't yet beaten it. I'm on Bespin now...and it's certifiably impossible to beat. I can secure the first two tibanna platforms (with MUCH difficulty), but the third one IS IMPOSSIBLE...if you get anywhere near the third set of platforms, TIE interceptors swarm you...not to mention their ack/ack fire. Am I missing something really basic here, and how much longer is this level after you do the third platform?

Key revelation, big spoiler, but the game is so old by now that it doesn't deserve spoiler tags: SHOOT THE GAS BURNERS IN THE BALLOONS! There are three cyllindrical gas burners in the upper part of the balloon that keep it afloat. concentrate your lazer fire on one of them and the whole balloon should go down pretty easily.

If you do it any other way, it gets really impossible, really fast.

Oh...it only makes sense, because taking out all of the guns one-by-one is nearly impossible...thank you Sir.

I remember Bespin... until I went online and used a FAQ to figure out that annoying little fact I thought that the level was completely impossible... once I read about it it seemed so easy, but I never thought of it in the game... and hitting those tiny little guns is SO HARD!
