You guys must get this game. It's really really good. Much more dialogue than the original one... better graphics... great story... more characters.. if you don't know what I'm talking about go look for it on ign or something! I'm too lazy to post a link because I'm going to go play it.

IGN had a pretty crappy review of the game that barely took up a page. I just got the game this week and it's great. It's like a mix between a hack-n-slash RPG like Diablo and an action-RPG like Sword of Mana. It's kind of on the easy side, but it's a lot of fun which is what matters. I should have a review of the game done this weekend.

Awesome! my GBA SP will now officially have more RPG's than my N64 ever did in it's entire life time.

Depends on your definition. What I can think of is, for RPGs, Aidyn Chronicles, Quest 64, and Paper Mario for true RPGs. Zelda is action-adventure-rpg. Ogre Battle is strategy-rpg. Hybrid Heaven is... uh, I haven't played it... fighting game-rpg?

Anything else that can even be mentioned?

Well, stretching the meaning of RPG to it's limits might let in Harvest Moon. Other than that I can't think of anything else that's even close to an RPG.

Harvest Moon, right... yeah, that's one. But I don't think there are any more. Oh, and Zelda doesn't count. That would bring up other action-adventures, after all, and none of them are really RPGs...

Hybrid Heaven is weird. It's a third person action adventure turn based RPG fighting game with platforming elements. :wha:

    It's worth a look.

I rented it one time and it wasn't exactly a great game. It was good for a few hours of fun, though. I really wanted to buy it, but I never got around to it.

Harvest Moon, I guess it COULD be an RPG of sorts, but at best I'd have to call it a simulation/RPG.

Isn't trying to force games that are striving to exist outside genre catagories back INTO catagories fun and yet tedious and sorta self defeating? :D

So with that cleared up... anything else on the N64 close enough to Zelda or something that it could be vaguely considered part RPG? :)
