Seems Ubisoft is at the very least porting this game. Not sure if they are doing more though. I'll say this, if it's basically a port job it's a rather sucky thing... Gee, should I get the free version for the system it was originally designed for with a mouse and keyboard setup and free updates with many new features added every now and then, or the $50 version ported to a system it was not designed for with a potentially clunkier setup that likely will only have extra content via XBox Live which will likely be charged for? Hard decision...

Unless this is more than a port job, I hoenstly don't care about this.

They're actually going to charge for it?

Considering that Ubisoft is out to make MONEY, I'd assume it will be sold for the standard console game price. That is, unless the tax payer is filling Ubisoft's pockets for this game, which I suppose is possible enough. However, I will say it's far more than likely that any upgrades, on XBox Live, will require the standard Live fee (of course).

I'll just stick with the PC version thanks. It's what the game was designed for anyway.

You didn't? It's a pretty decent team based FPS actually. I play it every now and again myself.

I'll take Unreal Tournament 2004 instead.

I'm talking about more close-nit stuff, not just everyone on "red" going their own way from the start only connected by the score, and having played the demo of 2004, I know it's exactly like that.

There's lots of team stuff in UT2004, like the Onslaught levels. You almost have to work together with your team mates to win.

Rainbow Six 3 has better team-based multi. But as far as free games go, AA's is superb.

I never wanted it when it was free either (oh wait, it still is for PC...), so can you imagine how much I want it now that I'd have to pay to use it on a gamepad? JOY!

Obviously, Ubisoft is trying to tap the "I wish I could pay for America's Army instead of getting it for free" demographic.

It's one of the major sub-categories of the "idiot" demographic.

Also known as the "dedicated console fanboy" demographic.

"Dedicated console fanboy" is just another sub-category.
