Droid General who beats the crap out of Jedi and clone troopers with four lightsabers. The new baddie. He's part alien in a robot shell, kinda like Vader. You'll see him in the last ep of Clone Wars.

The guy who voices Bender will voice him in the cartoon. :D

John Dimagio. He's actually done a lot of voice acting before, besides being Bender in Futurama. Still, it's kind of hard to imagine him as a really evil character. :D

Yeah. He also had a few lines in a couple of the Animatrix shorts, among other things.

My brother has seasons 1-3, but all except the first are region 3.

I'll have to swing by Best Buy sometime next week [spring break] and look into that, even though it is a long drive.

-Knights of Ramune [From the screenwriters of Slayers! Woo!!]
-Happy Lesson volumes 1,2 [It's like those other shows...but better]
-My Neighbor Totoro [Pan and Scan only, no special features and English dub only?! What's wrong with you, 21st Century Fox?!]
-Assemble Insert [crazy show, that]
-His and Her Circumstances volume 3 [Hideaki Anno's [Evangelion] romantic/drama/comedy/insane anime]
-Anime: Concept to Reality [reality being sub-par CG]
-Red Planet [Like Mission to Mars...but different...and not as good.]

That must have cost a lot.

BTW Disney is going to release Totoro in its original aspect ratio and with the original Japanese track sometime before... 2006. Probably this year.

That's good, because this version isn't too great, althought the movie is.

Neat, he has a Viewmaster. I had one when I was little that could see through time and space. Honest. I even know who's going to be elected as president this year.

:D

Ya know OB1, we weren't all "whining" about the visor anyway. We're just making fun of it because it's fun to, and we only made like one post each! We aren't exactly sticking to this. We're saying it because it's funny, not because it's something we actually, you know, believe or anything. We think that, but we don't like, have that as our fully fledged opinion. Hard to explain, but you know, we won't take any real issue with it, but it's fun to make fun of! Also, we honestly don't care if Star Wars has had it before or not. That's not a way to defend something for us "outsiders" :D.

Think I was defending Darunia? That's silly. A sack of potatoes is better than anyone. You can boil them, mash them, stick them into a stew. Stick them in a stew! What has any forumite done for me lately?

If it was potato soup or possible even Dutch scallops you might have a point, but otherwise it just doesn't add up.

It's really hard to believe how long it's been since Episode 1 came out. It's been over 5 and half YEARS! And now in just a few months we'll see what could possibly be the last Star Wars movie, it's kind of sad that we won't have another one to look forward to, well unless you count rumors that Steven Speilberg might direct the next trilogy. Not too likely in my view though.

2005 seemed like such a long way away back in 1999...

There won't be any more movies for a very, very long time. This is it. You can look forward to cartoons and stuff, though.

And I know what you mean. I actually moved back to the U.S. just five months before Episode I came out, and that seems like a lifetime ago. It's the end of an era. :(
