1.) Your avatar is labeled "mac guyer"

2.) His name isn't Mac Guyver. It's Richard Dean Anderson.

    3.) It's one word---MacGuyver.

French is his native language. You'd think he'd have a soft spot for him...

That has nothing to do with it. That's like you and I spelling Napoleon "nap oleonn". Proper names hardly change in foreign languages...MacGuyver being one such example. The French don't change it to "mac guyver". Il n'a aucun raison.

Yeah, French is his native language... but still, his grammar and spelling is really bad. So either he just doesn't pay much attention to it or he has trouble spelling... but given how his spelling is always consistently bad I doubt he would just magically change overnight so just live with it.

Actually Darunia its spelled "MACGYVER" so your quick bashing of my spelling is also dumb founded cause you were wrong too!

    vous aviez tort aussi LOL!

    http://www.funnyjunk.com/pages/fool.htm

I know his name is Richard dean Anderson! Calling him Macgyver is like calling William Shatner Captain Kirk or Arnold the Terminator.

As for how it is spelled I never checked on that but I assumed it was like the Scottish way of having "Mac" first then whatever else
like Mac Iver, Mac Donald, I could be wrong about that.

But I am suprised You got all offended so quickly , I make attempts to improve the Grammar and spelling of my posts, I Double check and edit my posts frequiently and visit dictionary.com occasionally if I cant remeber the spelling of a word.

Compared to when I first started my grammar is alot better.

We all know that if anyone had made a thread to attack me, everyone would've signed on against me. Even when I'm right (save for the MacGyver spelling), everyone attacks me as...having had too little reason for this thread? Poppycock and balderdash!

That's got to be the dumbest thing to ever come out of Canada. After that who MacGyver spelling thing is over, I declare war, and you claim victory for something that already happened...and even THEN, is not applicable!

I claim victory, as on Family Guy, when Peter writes to MacGyver, he spells it MacGuyver...and since Peter Griffin is far cooler than you, he can not be wrong.

Peter is wrongness incarnate. For instance, he's an idiot, a racist, a sexist, prejudiced against the handicapped, and any other kind of ist you can think of. Oh wait, you're Darunia...

The Theme song and open credits for the show spell it "macgyver"
    owned!

I seriously doubt hundreds of fansites for "macgyver" would also make that mistake.

    Peter Griffin cant read!

You can find errors in just about every publication printed, Mad Magazine clearly proved they dont know shit about time cronology
When they made fun of Startrek enterprise and put 2251 instead of the proper 2151, As we call this the 21st century but we dont put it down as 2103.

Finally since you have the nerve of continuing to misspell here is the final proof. http://home.planet.nl/~newhouse/macgyver.jpg

Never thought about it that way . I think they did honnestly make that mistake but never cared to double check there work as they do want crazed fans writing in complaining so they can laugh at them.

Startrek has made errors within itself, I remeber a episode were the phasers were fired out of the enterprise d torpedo tubes.

Family Guy is the funnies godamn show ever made. End of story.

My favourite moment of the show was during a flashback, where a buncha Nazi's invaded the house with Anne Frank and her family, and Peter was quietly, but loudly! and slowly eating potato chips giving the Frank's away. Haha, that could be extremely offensive but it wasn't to me. :D
