Or to be more accurate, nothing is more wreckless than news stations with time to fill. Seriously, they are mad that the pentagon didn't tell everyone what they should have been able to figure out on their own?

It's not the government's place to step in and tell you that that shadow of a monster is just branches outside your window. Stop being children!

So they're angry that the Pentagon didn't look stupid along with them? Can't say I blame them, it's certainly more embarassing this way, but that's the kind of thought you internalize. To turn that into rhetoric against the Pentagon?

Ahh, Fox News... imagine what they'd say if the Pentagon did investigate it. "Look at how incompetant they are! Okay, we made the same mistake, but we're only a news team! The Pentagon may very well have missed opportunities to catch terrorists!"

Here's the thing, it wasn't JUST Fox News. It was ALL the major American news networks.

This is a national shame. I don't think that's hyperbole. When ALL your major information outlets start spouting completely baseless nonsense like this, it's a problem.

As the BA said, "When you hear hoof beats, think horses not zebras".

Oh come on, that shit look very, very unusual. I seen it on the news! And I've seen jet contrails before, but this particular contrail certainly looked unusual. The Pentagon MUST come out and say something when the people demand answers! What on Earth is more American that demanding answers from the government?

Unusual like rainbows from a sprinkler right? Here's the thing, I've seen contrails like this before.

However, even if we excuse that these people have never taken the time to look up every once in a while, you don't just assume "missile" when you see somewhat unusual looking trails in the sky.

Demanding answers from the government is one thing, but try to at least do the bare minimum of real research before-hand.
