You live in a dream world. Nuclear weapons means global power. Iran wants global power.

    Basic idea:

Iran says they need higher grades to run medical and research, generation of power, etc.
UN agrees with it as it becomes incrementally more powerful grades.
    Iran legally makes weapons-grade plutonium.

Way back when, they had old Russian warheads which were purchased and 'probably stable' but when it was investigated, all we found were huge (empty) storerooms that had trace amounts of radiation. These were purchased weapons and still exist somewhere and if you notice the Iranian missiles tests being done they are trying to up the distance and trajectory accuracy with missiles large enough to hold old russian nuclear warheads.

That guy in the video is basically the scientist in every sci-fi who wants to 'communicate with the monster' and 'not be so hasty' who of course dies a horrible death at the hands of the monster.

^You're using a "what if?" argument. That kind of philosophy is what neocons with war boners use to get us involved in bullshit on a daily basis.

That facts are the facts: Iran has "no" nuclear weapons. They never have, and they don't have the capability to do so now. As he states, Iran has agreed to IAEA regulations for years now. Getting worried over a mere 3% doesn't make us smart; it makes us paranoid.

Here's an interesting fact for you: Iran has a "no first strike policy" when it comes to nuclear weapons. Even if they did have nuclear weapons (and they don't), they would only attack if someone else attacked them. Iran is like a bee: they won't bother you if you don't bother them.

Here's something you need to consider: thanks to our stupidity, Israel has nukes going up the wazoo. As I type this, the small country is sitting on a stockpile of 200+ weapons. That country could wipe the earth's ass with Iran anytime it wants. Iran would have to be shit faced drunk to even consider going to war with Israel.

Hell, the Pentagon itself already confirmed that Iran doesn't have nukes earlier this year. The following article was written in early Jan.:
    http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=116...=351020104

Here's an excellent article from Webster Tarpley on the issue of Iran:
    http://tarpley.net/2010/07/22/obama-prep...bomb-iran/

That article explains everything. Refute that article, and you're God.

Consider this: we've lost over 4000+ troops that was also based on a lie. We have a debt that's skyrocketing because of the trillions we spend over there. We have dollar on the verge of hyperinflation because of the same reasons. And, we could have gas prices skyrocket to over 200 dollars a barrel if we sanction the oil canal that runs through Iran. Tell me, Lazy, out of everything that I just mentioned in this paragraph, name one thing that justifies another war.

I think you're the one living in a dream world.

Or, it would have to be dominated by a murder-suicide religious cult with a vendetta against everything Israel is and stands for.

    ;D

Tarpley appears to be a 9/11 Conspiracy nut, so I see no reason to accept anything else he says as credible.

^Well, yeah, that too.;D Those two countries have been fighting for as long as man's first discovery of sticks and stones as weapons.

The point that I'm making is that there's no reason for us to get involved in the conflict. We already made the mistake of supplying Israel with weapons. Every country in the Middle-East knows that we have. If Israel does attack Iran, and Iran survives, we're going to have to live with the fact that we'll have just as much blood om our hands as Israel. That's not really something that we need right now.

As for your second post regarding Tarpley. Yes, Tarpley does question the official 9/11. That doesn't mean that everything he says isn't credible. His journalism work is absolutely flawless. I encourage you to read some of his works.

Tarpley's analysis of the coming war with Iran is spot on. The events that are surrounding the tension between America and Iran are very, very similar to the oil crisis that took place during the 1970s. During such an event, the Anglo-American, seven sister oil companies jacked up the price of oil past $100 dollars a barrel. The purpose of this was to give the companies in question full-spectrum dominance over the world's oil trades. At that time, the dollar was in panic mode, and the dollar's place as the #1 currency for oil trading was coming to an end. Jacking up oil prices is one of the best ways to save the dollar from collapse.

The philosophy above is being applied now. Countries like China and Russia have said that in talks to ditch the dollar for oil trades. They wish to switch to something that's more stable--e.g., gold. There are even some countries in the Middle-East that wish to do the same. In other words, history is repeating itself. The dollar is in free-fall, and countries want to ditch it. If that happens, the Anglo-American establishment will lose control. So, what do we do? Simple: we go to war with Iran under a lie, close down the oil canal that flows through it, and watch as the price of oil skyrockets above $200. If that happens, then the dollar will be temporary saved, and those in power regain global control. That, in a nutshell, is why the war drums are beating.

Yes, I have a war-boner because the head of iran's nuclear program said they can make weapons grade plutonium if they wanted to and then threatened the United States to 'keep out of it'. I dont think you fully grasp what you're talking about. Iran cant (yet) make nuclear weapons, but they purchased them, rather openly and a little over a decade ago threatened to use them. You fall in love with a guy argues with himself yet completely misses the point on why we're even in the war in the first place.

You are an insane person, I take my fig newtons from you and eat them alone.
