Apparently gamers everywhere looked for this strange set of skulls, but for the life of me I have no idea what game this is supposed to be from.

Oh and GR, there's no possible way I can search for that in google or wikipedia. It's a line of 4 skulls! "4" and "skulls" just aren't accurate enough terms.

My guess is Halo. I understand there are skulls hidden in every stage.

Not in the first game. The second game has some, and the third actually uses them to unlock cheats (Rare is listed in the credits... somehow I think they are responsible).

However, I don't think that's what this means.

I was kinda referring to the series as a whole and not just Halo 1.

Kind of similar to how Perfect Dark had a piece of cheese hidden somewhere in every level?

I never did find any of them. :(

I managed to find them all. One thing that makes it easier is realizing that those levels that "repeat" have the same piece of cheese. However, you do need to cheat sometimes just to see them, and sometimes that means using the Farsight.

These skulls actually do things though. Basically instead of "par" times, it's super ultra hidden skulls, hidden on almost the same level of "way out there" as the cheese.

I actually once saw Halo advertized as 'Perfect Dark for idiots'. I'm not making that up.
