    Wow...

I actually did watch the ninja episode and meant to check out the Ask A Ninja part online (being a fan of both Mythbusters and Ask A Ninja), but forgot.

Thank you for inadvertantly reminding me, and even saving me the trouble of finding it myself.

Makes me want to see that episode...

(oh, what about running along walls? Do they do that one?)

Nope, they did just as they said: catching arrows and stopping swords with your bare hands, and walking on water. Every one was busted.

For those who did see the episode though, I have a bone to pick with the arrow one. All the shots they made were from a distance of maybe a few feet away, and nobody with a bow and arrow is going to get that close to shoot you. Bows are weapons with distance in mind, lots of distance, and shot upward so as to fall towards the opponent (ninja). Plenty of opportunity for anyone to see it coming and, ostensibly, catch it. It's no different than someone throwing you your car keys to catch, albeit the stakes being somewhat higher :D.

I guess I just over think things.

    I liked that episode.

Bascially, ninjas couldn't do most of that stuff, but they certainly didn't mind very much that everyone thought they could.

Ninjas were a lot cooler in legend than in reality.
