I went to the midnight show last night. It was good, but not great. They did a good job of developing Sandman and the new Green Goblin (or Hobgoblin?), but Venom felt tacked on. Definitely entertaining, but the second movie is better. It feels like a good place to end the movie series.

I saw the first two because my dad was going to see them and asked me to come... I wouldn't have gone to see them myself, though. Decent films I guess, but not great... I doubt I'll see this one. Maybe, but I'm skeptical.

The trailers made this seem a bit cheesy, but you can't always judge a movie by its trailer. I'll consider seeing it, but I haven't heard many favorable reviews so far, so I'm not holding my breath, aside from holding in many hits of marijuana smoke before seeing this movie to enjoy it more than a couple of critics apparently have.

Alright we GET it, you are proud of making yourself an idiot to enjoy the movies the public enjoys.

Alright, I get it, you stereotype pot-smokers to be idiots and don't approve of the habit, despite having little first-hand experience with the drug itself.

As far as I know, this is the only mention I've made of smoking pot, aside from the designated thread. So why the hostility?

Hostility? Nope, just noticing that every time you review a movie you talk about how high you were while watching it. At any rate, I'm not saying you are stupid when sober, but when you are high, you're an idiot, objectively.

I'm just going to make fun of you every single time you bring it up. Don't make a big deal out of it :D.

    Women...

Is it really 'Venom'? Or it just the story of the symbiote suit, cuz I saw no mention of the suit getting in to someone elses hands other than Parker.

I saw a preview where there's some church tower and a big ol' meanie gets the suit goo on him and goes all "my mouth is your primal fear of big cats" on Spidey.

SACRED JELLY--I LOVE YOUR AVATAR! I remember that guy from Ren & Stimpy. Cobb, wasn't it?

Damn straight. :D It's the best old man caricature in any cartoon - rambling for minutes about absolute nonsense, while falling apart. In the episode where Stimpy makes a cartoon (the episode I got the avatar from), you can even briefly see that Cobb's wearing a thong. Man, what a great show.
